Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead has canceled a planned visit to the FandemicTour. He couldn’t attend the fan event due to an “accident” during filming.
Norman Reedus plays Daryl Dixon in Season 11th season of the series hurt himself on the sets. The first episodes of the second half of AMC’s zombie drama’s final season 11 premiered in February. The remaining episodes are set to air later this year. Season 11 closely adapts the plot from The Walking Dead comic volumes #175-193, establishing the Commonwealth. It is the most evolved post-apocalyptic society yet.
Reedus Recently Caught In An Accident On The Sets
Since the first season of the series, Daryl has been a main character in the post-apocalyptic series. Following the departure of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) in season 9, Daryl Reedus’ Daryl takes over as one of Alexandria’s and another survivors’ de facto leaders, along with Maggie Greene/Rhee (Lauren Cohan). Maggie has rejected to join the Commonwealth in Season 11, although Daryl has embraced their invitation and joined their troops. Daryl and the other inmates are now part of the community. They’re starting to notice that the seemingly perfect Commonwealth has a few flaws.
Reedus recently engaged in an “accident” while “filming,” according to Fandemic Tour on Instagram. As a result, Reedus’ participation at the forthcoming Comic-Con had to be rescheduled. There were no more specifics given. Thus it’s safe to assume Reedus was hurt while filming Season 11 of Walking Dead. Sadly, it is yet to be confirmed in writing.

The message didn’t go into much more information about the mishap. But Fandemic Tour stated it was giving “thoughts and positive energy” to Reedus. He was “awful” about missing his appearance, according to the business. Season 11 of The Walking Dead expects to conclude production on its last installment later this month. Reedus’ injury might change that. After the main series airs its last season, the Walking Dead realm will continue.
More Shows Following The Walking Dead
Aside from the continuing sequels Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond, new shows are in the works. Such as Tales of the Walking Dead, Isle of the Dead. An untitled spinoff following Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie in New York, as well as an untitled spinoff following Daryl, Carol (Melissa McBride), and other established characters on the road are also on the table. In addition, Rick Grimes will star in a trio of films in the franchise. While those projects have yet to begin filming, Lincoln was recently photographed alongside Reedus in Atlanta, Georgia.
Reedus will very certainly return in The Walking Dead season 11’s last episode, given his continuing significance in the universe. Still, Daryl and Carol might leave the main series for their spin-off before the finale. They will leave Maggie, Negan, Aaron, Ezekiel, Eugene, Rosita, Gabriel, Judith, or perhaps Rick and Michonne to star in episode 24. Regardless of the characters, narrative, or whether or not the alleged accident has an impact on production, legions of fans of The Walking Dead wish Reedus and crew the best.
