Logan Paul and Dwayne Johnson often collaborated on special occasions. During the promotions of ‘Baywatch,’ Johnson collaborated extensively with the YouTuber. However, in December 2017, things changed. Paul recently revealed the details of their fallout.

Logan Paul Reveals Why Dwayne Johnson Wants Nothing To Do With Him
The year-end of 2017 was not the greatest for Logan Paul. He received backlash over the ‘Suicide Forest’ video, but the most hurtful event was when his idol Dwayne Johnson broke ties with him.
Paul had posted a video from his trip to the Aokigahara forest in Japan. In the video, he came across a hanging dead body, and after seeing it, he expressed disbelief and giggled. However, the video enraged the internet including his fellow contemporaries. YouTube stripped him from the top-tier monetization system. Now, during the True Geordie Podcast, Logan opened up about the incident, and especially the reaction of his idol.
Paul said, “After Japan happened, obviously I found myself in a hole, rightfully so, that I had never been in before. Extremely low mentally. And I got a call from my publicist who also repped Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and she’s like, “Dwayne has asked that you remove every picture and video that you’ve done with him. And maybe in the future, the relationship can be reconciled but for now, he basically wants nothing to do with you.” Which I also understood, I get it.”
The ‘Jumanji’ actor’s response astonished Logan. The wrestler thought they shared healthy relationship where they could openly communicate. He continued, “But I just wish I would have gotten like a call or a text or something because I thought we had a healthy relationship with an open line of communication and I was so sad that my hero wanted nothing to do with me.”
In 2018, Dwayne gave a heart-wrenching account of his mother dying by suicide in front of him when he was 15. Logan further explained, “And I was sad because I understood it. I really f**ked up.”
He said that he received a DM from Johnson three months ago for one of his videos where a monkey stole his Prime. The YouTuber said, “I was so disappointed in myself, and so I vowed to get better, I vowed to change, time passed, I started doing well… I just wanted to be able to build a relationship with Dwayne.”
