    ‘The Mandalorian’: Pedro Pascal Teases Season 3 Update During ‘Star Wars’ Celebration

    Only three words were used by Pedro Pascal to define the forthcoming third season of Disney+’s ‘The Mandalorian. The new seasons of the series are described by Pedro as “Action, Spectacle, and Surprises.” He mentioned this on Saturday during the second day of the Anaheim Convention Center’s ‘Star Wars‘ Celebration event.

    Pascal spoke during a Disney+ panel with series creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, as well as co-stars Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, and others. Pascal and other members of the crew teased what’s to come in the junior season, which will debut in 2023, in a chat titled ‘Mando+: A Conversation with Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni‘.

    ‘The Mandalorian’ Star Surprises ‘Star Wars’ Fans

    Whether it’s cameos, easter eggs, or new characters, the series has kept ‘Star Wars‘ fans guessing with a variety of surprises throughout its run. Season 3 appears to be no exception, with Pascal reiterating his belief that there will be surprises when the show returns in February 2023.

    Pascal also discussed his experience as the masked bounty hunter throughout the session. He stated it makes him happy to watch a stern, armored persona like his own, find his heart. Moff Gideon, played by Esposito, who co-stars with Pascal, revealed what he hopes for his character’s future.

    “I will squash that little green bastard.”

    Moff Gideon said, referring to none other but Grogu, a.k.a. Baby Yoda

    Well, as per the panel, Rick Famuyiwa will executive produce ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 in addition to directing it.

    The Panel Discusses Upcoming Series ‘Ahsoka’

    The event on Saturday also gave fans additional details about the new ‘Ahsoka‘ series, which stars Rosario Dawson as the eponymous character. Attendees got a first peek at early season footage as Natasha Liu Bordizzo confirmed her role as Sabine Wren. Her casting was first reported by Deadline in November 2021.

    “Sabine means so much to so many people. I have known that I would be playing Sabine for a yearn and I’m so relieved that I can openly fangirl with the rest of you.”

    Dawson said during the Star Wars event that Ahsoka isn’t simply a diversion, but a way of life. ‘Ahsoka‘, which will premiere in 2023, will continue to follow its namesake character, Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Padawan.
