In his memoir, Harry claimed that Prince William once physically assaulted him over Meghan Markle. He said William called Meghan “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive”.

In response, Harry called it a “parrot[ing] of the press narrative” in the UK. “It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor,” Harry stated.

As a result, Harry landed on a dog’s bowl which left a visible back injury. He then got to his feet and told William to leave. The physical altercation took place at Nottingham Cottage. According to Harry, William was “piping hot” at that time.
