As Charlie Cox’s ‘Daredevil‘ series gets set to reach fans, fans have wondered if other members of the cinematic universe will also make a return. Here’s what Krysten Ritter has to say about her character.
Krysten Ritter Opens Up About Returning As Jessica Jones
As of now, there have not been much information on which stars will return for the ‘Daredevil’ series, but Krysten Ritter is giving fans hope that she might reprise her role in the series. “It’s a character that I adore and love so much so you never know,” Ritter told Entertainment Tonight, adding “I mean, it would be so lovely.”
She also talked about how this won’t be the first time she’ll be reprising a role as she added, “I also have been in a lot of projects that come back, so you never know. [With] Breaking Bad, I did El Camino, [and] Veronica Mars.”

Ritter featured in Jessica Jones as the title private investigator with super-strength, based on the Marvel comics character developed by writer Brian Michael Bendis and illustrator Michael Gaydos. In season one of the show, which debuted on Netflix, Jones battled the telepathic antagonist Kilgrave (David Tennant), who had previously enslaved her.
What To Expect From ‘Daredevil: Born Again’?
In an interview with Empire magazine, Charlie Cox spoke about the series and everything it includes, adding that the show will have a lot of connections with the previous series.
“There was talk early on about reinventing the whole thing, to see if Matt was a slightly different person. But it ended up more of a continuation. A lot of the history follows on. The relationships and dynamics set up in the previous seasons still exist” he said.
Although ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ was originally intended to be a reboot of the character with Cox still playing the part, Charlie Cox reaffirmed in the interview that it would be a continuation of Daredevil. Additionally, he notes that “a few years have passed” since the Daredevil finale, in which Matt Murdock was in a different mental state than before.
