Netflix has announced the new updates for the next installment of one of its most successful series The Witcher. According to the latest update, Robbie Amell, Meng’er Zhang, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin have joined The Witcher. Moreover, the update also informed about the new characters the actors will be playing.
New Additions In The Cast Of The Witcher
Netflix in its latest announcement updated about the developments in the cast for the next season of The Witcher. Four new actors will be joining forces with the previous cast of Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan. Moreover, Cavill and others will return to take charge of their characters of Geralt, Yennefer, and Siri respectively.
The statement announcing the update read, “Welcome to the Continent! We’re thrilled to introduce our new cast of royals, warriors, and outlaws making their debut in #TheWitcher Season 3.” Consequently, it revealed that Amell will play Gallatin, Zhang will play Milva, Skinner will play Prince Radovid, and Elwin will play Mistle in the upcoming season.
Description For The New Characters Added In The Series
Amell will portray Gallatin in the upcoming season who is termed a loyal fighter. “A born fighter, Gallatin leads an army of guerrilla Scoia’tael fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard. Unafraid to speak his truth, Gallatin’s loyalty to his people ultimately leads him on a collision course with Francesca overpower.”
Zhang’s character Milva is, “A human adopted by the dryads of Brokilon Forest, Milva is a fierce and talented huntress. Exact archery skills coupled with a stone-cold aptitude for survival make her a formidable adversary in the unforgiving Continent – those that cross her, do so at their peril.”
Hugh Skinner will portray Prince Radovid, described as a playboy. “Royal playboy and younger brother to King Vizimir, Radovid finds himself suddenly a man on the inside of the Redanian Intelligence. With his good looks and drunken charm, Radovid amazes with how incisive he can be in political affairs, but it’s all games until someone gets hurt.“
And, Christelle Elwin’s character Mistle’s description reads, “Mistle is a member of The Rats, a gang of misfit teenagers who steal from the rich and give to themselves – and sometimes the poor. She is street hard, suspicious of everyone, and out for revenge, until a chance meeting that will change everything.”
The announcement by Netflix, however, failed to mention any dates for The Witcher’s third season’s release. The series is based on the hit book series of the same name. Moreover, the show will have seven seasons in total same as the books. Moreover, according to the sources, Henry Cavill is ready to play the titular Geralt in all seven of them.
