Why Hasn’t Daeron Appeared In The Series Yet?

Although the younger brother had an important role to play in the civil war he still hasn’t made an appearance in the show. George R.R. Martin posted a blog recently and cleared fans’ doubts. Martin explained Daeron’s absence and wrote, “Yes, Alicent gave Viserys four children, three sons, and a daughter. However, Martin himself wished that he had more time in season 1 to explore the character. He also wished the time to portray the relationship between Rhaenyra and Ser Harwin Strong properly, of course before he dies a fiery death.
