10) Attack On Titan This anime has become increasingly popular and for good reason. Similar to 'Death Note', it has an amazing and unpredictable plot and great character development.
9) Tokyo Ghoul This anime follows the story of Kaneki Ken who goes on a date with a girl he's liked for some time. However, his date goes awry when he finds out that the girl is a Ghoul.
8) Steins;Gate The anime is quite similar to 'Death Note' in terms of the struggles the main character goes through. Rintaro, the protagonist, has to outwit his enemies to prevent world war 3.
7) Chainsaw Man The story of the anime follows Denji, who works for the person to whom he is indebted. One unfortunate day, Denji gets into a fight and to heal him, Pochita merges with his body.
6) Death Parade In this anime, the people who die go to a bar where the bartender challenges them. If the person manages to win the game, they are reincarnated.
5) Parasyte: The Maxim Izumi finds out after waking up that a creature took his right-hand hostage. Izumi tries to reject it but after some time forms a relationship with him.
4) Mirai Nikki The story follows Yukiteru and a girl, Yuno, who is obsessed with him. Yukiteru needs to eliminate all the other people who possess different diaries.
3) Erased 'Erased' follows the story of a manga artist, Satoru. The 29-year-old is sent a few minutes back in time to prevent any tragedy from taking place.
2) Monster A doctor chooses to operate on a boy who unbeknownst to him, would grow up to be an actual monster. This makes fans question the surgeon's ethics similar to that of Light's.
1) Paranoia Agent In this anime, Musashino City is terrorized by Shonen Bat. The shonen bat goes around and assaults people. This case turns into a chase similar to that of 'Death Note'.
