Alec Baldwin Could Be Found Guilty In Accidental Shooting Case

WRITTEN BY NAVEENA PRASAD M

Alec Baldwin will face criminal charges of involuntary manslaughter for the 'Rust' accidental shooting of the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The incident happened at the New Mexico movie set in October 2021.

The criminal charges were pressed on him due to the fact that he has the obligation on anyone who holds the gun to check beforehand.

Along with Baldwin, the actor and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will also face two counts on manslaughter.

In addition to the fatal death of Hutchins, the director  of Rust was also injured in the incident.

The crime is considered to be a fourth-degree felony that carries a sentence up to 18 months in jail and $5000 fine.

The assistant director David Halls will face a suspended sentence and six months of probation.

It has been stated that if either three of the people who face the charges had taken the needed precaution, the Hutchins would have been alive today.
