Ana De Armas Thinks Social Media Ruined The "Movie Star" Concept

Ana De Armas Is basking in the praises and accolades for her stunning portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in Netflix's 'Blonde'

She is nominated for the 'Best Actress In A Leading Role' for 95th Academy Awards for her stellar portrayal of Marilyn Monroe.

Like Marilyn, her life had been turbulent due to constant attention from the media due to her personal life with Ben Affleck.

Now, the actress is on the Hollywood cover of the Vanity Fair magazine along with other scene stealer artists in 2022.

During the interview, she was asked whether Hollywood still produces superstars like Marilyn.

Ana said that there is no concept of a movie star in Hollywood anymore due to the social media invasion in one's life.

She thinks that due to oversharing the mystery of a movie star has gone.

The portrayal of Marilyn Monroe helped her to change her perspective about Hollywood and she felt disappointed with the perpetuation of  hostility and discrimination in Hollywood.
