Ben Affleck Opens Up About Being Fired From His Earliest Acting Gig

Ben Affleck's earliest acting gig almost ended with the director wanting to fire him from the project.

In his appearance on 'The Drew Barrymore Show,' The 50-year-old actor and filmmaker talked about his Burger King commercial being an unpleasant experience.

Ben Affleck told the host, "They're always worried about actors driving." He told the director that he had "driven like 500 or 1,000 miles."

Ben Affleck recalls having to do multiple takes and being upset with the director. Now a filmmaker himself, he understands why.

Drew Barrymore gushed over Affleck's Nike drama 'Air,' praising him for his directorial vision and the decision to leave out Michael Jordan from the movie.

Directed by Ben Affleck, 'Air' follows Nike's relentless pursuit of an up-and-coming Michael Jordan.

Air' premiered at SXSW Film Festival on March 18, 2023. It received a theatrical release date of was theatrically release date of April 5, 2023.

Currently playing in movie theatres, 'Air' is expected to make its streaming debut on Amazon Prime after its 45-day theatrical run.
