'Berserk' is a very dark anime. The anime has pretty gruesome scenes and the main character suffers a lot. Here are the top 7 most shocking deaths in the anime.
7) Guts Killing 100 People Whilst not exactly the death of a major character, this particular scene is quite shocking. This scene not only shows Guts' strength but also throws light on his resolve to live.
6) Death Of Guts' Comrades Guts' Comrades get killed by Nosferatu Zodd, a feared demon. The death of his comrades wasn't shown, but it shocked the fans to know that the entire band was killed.
5) Boscogn Kills Hawks' Members Whilst being dark, fans didn't imagine that some members of the Hawks would die so quickly in the anime. They were killed by Boscogn during a fight.
4) Guts Killing A Child Guts was tasked with killing the knight's head. An intruder enters the room and Guts kills him. He later found out that he killed a boy who was almost 13 years old.
3) Griffith's Torturer Whilst this particular death wasn't shocking, it was the fragment the torturer received beforehand that pleased and shocked the fans at the same time.
2) Guts' Rampage Upon rescuing Griffith who was tortured, Guts went on a rampage. He was angry for the people who tortured him and he killed multiple people in the castle.
1) Gaston's Death Gaston was one of Guts' closest comrades. His death was a shock to the fans, and the manner in which he died, was even more shocking.
