Comedians Defend Chris Rock Over Backlash To Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Jokes

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars last year was an event that will remain in the history forever and it is still under discussion until today.
Many comedians have showcased their support towards Chris Rock after a few of his jokes about Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett were slammed by the public.
Comedian D.L. Hughley wrote on Instagram that he is going to give flowers and respect to Rock and that people don’t have a choice to decide when or how someone decides to deal with their trauma.
Hughley mentioned that Rock was silent for a year but the entire world reacted to the slap incident on social media and other comedians also did a few acts on the same.
Hughley said that Chris never did the same in all this time and now when he is doing it, people are criticizing him in such a way like as if does not have the right to do it.
Comedian Jeff Ross said that the ones who are slamming him are hypocrites and that they are speaking about the incident instead of demanding for a compensation.
Rock’s last eight minutes on his Netflix special Selective Outrage addressed the incident where he said that he had nothing to do with everything that happened.
Chris Rock also charged Jada Pinkett for pressurizing him to avoid hosting the Oscars back in 2016 because Will Smith was not nominated.
