Disneyland’s Fire-Breathing Maleficent Dragon Catches Fire In An Ironic Accident

A fire-breathing dragon at Disneyland caught fire on Saturday night. A few spectators think that the incident was a part of the show.
While the prop was entirely engulfed in flames and was accidental, officials are trying to find the causes behind it.
Around six workers were treated for smoke inhalation but did not need any evaluation. The fire incident happened at around 11 p.m.
The show features Mickey Mouse dreaming that he is a sorcerer’s apprentice and it uses special effects, stunts, pyrotechnics, and music.
A prop depicts one of the villains in the story. He is the 45-foot dragon Maleficent, which breathes fire during a part of the performance.
A TikTok video revealed that while the crowd watched, the fire started around the dragon’s head and spread to his body and along its neck.
A voice over the loudspeaker called for everyone’s attention. The speaker announced the performance of Fantasmic! will not continue due to unforeseen circumstances.
While the prop started to catch fire, an accountant named Tim Turensek revealed that he briefly thought the blaze to be an intentional part of the show.
