Donald Trump has recently posted an AI-generated picture of himself praying after several deepfakes of him being arrested and running from the authorities have gone viral on social media.
Trump set off a news cycle online increasing fears of his indictment by the Manhattan District Court and reshared a picture of himself solemnly praying.
The picture featured Trump down on one knee with folded hands and head bowed down. It was a screenshot from a user called Siggy Flicker.
Trump seems to be having a lot of fun by sharing his AI pictures after many of them went viral and featured him struggling while getting arrested by authorities and running away from them.
The pictures were generated by Eliot Higgins, the founder of the open-source investigative outlet Bellingcat, who used an AI art generator tool while giving the prompt – ‘Donald Trump falling down while being arrested.’
He shared the pictures and wrote that he is making pictures of Trump getting arrested while waiting for Trump’s arrest.
The pictures of the event that has not happened in reality until now has received around 5 million views so far and has been getting a lot of attention.
The picture posted by Trump looks real at first sight but the problems of AI can be spotted on a closer look at Trump’s hands.
