Right after the Twitter acquisition, Elon Musk has fired nearly half of Twitter’s workforce.
However, there is one person on his payroll that he cannot fire. Sinead McSweeney, Twitter’s global vice president for public policy, is that person.
She has secured a temporary high court injunction that prevents the social media giant from firing her.
In the court, Sinead stated that working for Twitter has become difficult after Musk took over, as she’s been working for more than 75 hours a week.
After Sinead did not respond to “a generic and vague email” sent by Musk to all Twitter employees earlier this month, she said the company started treating her differently.
Sinead was locked out of the Dublin office and its internal IT systems, including her company email account.
