Elon Musk Changes Twitter's Name

WRITTEN BY YASH SINGH

Elon Musk bought Twitter last year for $44 billion. What followed has been nothing short of a drama.

Musk has been taking drastic decisions to make sure the company generates profit.

At Twitter's headquarter in San Francisco, a huge plate mentioning the company's name is placed.

Recently, someone covered the word 'W' in it. This change is reportedly inspired by a poll Musk conducted in April last year.

In it, the Tesla CEO had asked users if they would like if 'w' was removed from Twitter's name.

The poll received massive engagement, with many voting Yes. However, it was later deleted.

This move has been criticized by many users as childish.

Last week, Musk replaced Twitter's blue bird logo with the doge meme.
