Since Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October 2022, the platform has gone through considerable changes.

Elon Musk tried to resuscitate from the losses that the platform faced after the advertisers stopped spending on advertisements on Twitter.

In order to do so, he even launched a $8/subscription for the 'Twitter Blue' subscribers to enjoy the exclusive features.

Now, Elon Musk, in order to compete with YouTube, has introduced the longform video feature on Twitter.

Elon Musk, in November 2022, asked his employees to create monetization option for the content creators via longform video option.

Through the new feature, the Twitter Blue users can upload videos of two hours of duration of 8GB size.

The Twitter users have welcomed this new feature by pointing out the loopholes on other platforms like Spotify and YouTube.

Elon Musk has stepped down as the CEO of Twitter, and he has appointed Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO.
