Elon Musk Opens Up About His Not-So-Happy Childhood

Elon Musk has had a meteoric rise in the business world. But even he, just like many, started out small.
However, recently a user refuted the claims that he had to struggle financially in the US.
Taking to Twitter, Musk quashed these rumors. "I grew up in a lower, transitioning to upper, middle-income situation, but did not have a happy childhood", he wrote.
He added, "Haven't inherited anything ever from anyone, nor has anyone given me a large financial gift."
He further added, "My father created a small electrical/mechanical engineering company that was successful for 20 to 30 years, but it fell on hard times."
"He has been essentially bankrupt for about 25 years, requiring financial support from my brother and me."
Musk stated that his father taught him physics, engineering, and construction which is "more valuable than money" for him.
The billionaire also stated that he supports Errol financially so that he does not "engage in bad behavior."
