On Wednesday, Elon Musk's Twitter shared some of the new changes the company has rolled out.

In a tweet from the company’s support account, they announced that users can now reply to specific messages and respond in any way not just via emojis.

Another one is encrypted DMs. Musk tweeted that its 1.0 release “should happen” on Wednesday.

"This will grow in sophistication rapidly. The acid test is that I could not see your DMs even if there was a gun to my head", he tweeted.

He further informed users, "coming soon will be voice and video chat from your handle to anyone on this platform, so you can talk to people anywhere in the world without giving them your phone number."

Recently, the social media giant announced that they will be removing all the accounts from the platform that haven't done a log-in in 30 days.

By doing this, the platform will be decluttered from inactive accounts.

Musk elaborated on this in a tweet, “We’re purging accounts that have had no activity at all for several years, so you will probably see follower count drop.”
