50 Cent filed for bankruptcy in 2015 and following the sex tape incident, he had to pay $7 million in damages. He had to pay $17 million to a headphone company leading to debts of around $25 million.

MC Hammer filed for bankruptcy once and had several creditors at the time. The list included his brother, many lawyers, a few banks, department stores, and utility companies.

Lil Kim was under huge debts of around $650,000. This included legal bills worth $186,000 and she even filed to stop her mansion from going to public auction.

DMX suffered from financial issues despite being successful. He filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and was under debts of somewhere between $1 million and $10 million.
