'Freaky Friday' Sequel Teased By Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis has given a significant update on the progress of the 'Freaky Friday' sequel.

While attending the Producers Guilds Awards on March 4, 2023, she said, "It's going to happen," regarding the 'Freaky Friday' sequel.

During her appearance on The View on October 10, 2022, she revealed that she wrote to Disney about making a sequel to 'Freaky Friday'.

Lindsay Lohan also announced on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' that she's open to returning for the sequel. 

After dealing with the public fallout of her drug addiction, Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback.

She returned to acting with the Netflix Christmas movie 'Falling for Christmas' in 2022.

The 2003 movie 'Freaky Friday' starred Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother-daughter duo who accidentally swapped bodies.

'Freaky Friday' is based on the 1972 Mary Rodgers novel of the same name. The 2003 film was Disney's third film adaptation of the novel.
