Henry Cavill Reveals He Was Fat-Shamed By This Director

Henry Cavill is well-known for his performance as Clark Kent/Superman in the DCEU franchise since 2013 and he recently announced his retirement from the role.

Cavill has the best looks and physique but despite that, he had to face a few challenges including a moment where he was looking chubby.

He mentioned in an interview that he was planning to leave acting and he decided to join the Armed Forces in case he fails in the world of acting.

Although he auditioned for the role of James Bond, he was rejected and said that it was a learning experience for him.

Henry Cavill stated that director Martin Campbell called him chubby and he did not know how to train or diet.

He also auditioned for The Lion in Winter but was not selected. He said that he met Patrick Stewart and was feeling nervous to audition in front of him.

Cavill last appeared as Geralt of Rivia for three seasons of the Netflix series, The Witcher. He will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth from Season 4.

Cavill’s upcoming projects include the spy film, Argylle, followed by The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare, The Rosie Project and an untitled Highlander reboot.
