Musk was first married to Justine Wilson. They met in Canada at Queen’s University, Ontario at the time when Justine was in her first year of college.
Wilson initially declined Musk’s offer to go on a date. He kept pursuing her several times, and the aspiring writer eventually agreed to go on a date with him.
They fell in love and started an on-and-off relationship. The couple tied the knot in 2000.

In 2002, Wilson gave birth to their first child who passed away due to sudden infant death syndrome just 10 weeks after birth. This tragic death shook both Musk and Wilson.
The couple then opted for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and had twins in 2004 and triplets in 2006. In 2008, they filed for divorce and shared their children’s custody.
Justine claimed she felt like “an employee” in her marriage and said that Musk treated her like a “trophy wife“.
Musk then went on to marry Talulah Riley and dated several other women.
