How Did Naruto Get Food As A Child?

WRITTEN BY  RIYA DUBEY

Uzumaki Naruto has had one of the saddest childhoods in the anime world. He lost his parents on the day he was born, he was made a jinchuriki and he was shunned by the villagers.

It is an amazing feat that he was able to forgive the villagers for treating him in such a way and he was able to become a hero for them

One of the saddest things about Naruto's childhood is his dependency on instant ramen. He lived alone and no one took care of him. It's a big question of how he got his food and the money for it.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, knew the truth about Naruto and his parents. He promised to take care of Naruto. He gave Naruto a monthly allowance to purchase groceries.

However since Naruto lived alone and did not have anyone to teach him how to cook, he mainly survived off of instant ramen. The shopkeepers and restaurant owners would send him away if he tried to buy food.

The only place he could get food was Ichiraku Ramen. Naruto never got home-cooked meals and also survived on instant meals. This is why he was always excited to eat at Ichiraku Ramen.

Hiruzen also never appointed a caretaker or cook for Naruto as nobody in the village wanted to associate with Naruto.

This is how Naruto got his food when he was a child.
