How SZA Surpassed Mariah Carey On Spotify?

SZA released her sophomore album 'SOS' in December 2022. Since its release, it has been hailed by fans and critics.

During the Holiday season, Mariah Carey's 1994 hit 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' always charts at the No.1 position on all music charts unanimously.

However, on December 16th, 2022, SZA surpassed Mariah toppling her song with 'Kill Bill' from 'SOS'.

'Kill Bill' is a revenge fantasy song with the mid-tempo talking about the dilemma of killing her ex whom she loves presenting her darkest inner desires.

Mariah Carey created history in 2019 with 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' which became the highest charting holiday song, most streamed song on Spotify in 24 hours,

Mariah Carey has received $72 million in royalties on Christmas till 2021.
