Is 'Love Again' Based On A Novel?

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan are reviving the lost charm of romance with 'Love Again'

The film marks the debut of Céline Dion, who plays herself in the film.

The film is about a grieving woman Mira Ray who loses her fiancé, but she still texts him unaware that his number is still active with Rob Burns. Fate makes them both to meet.

It will also have a cameo of Priyanka's real husband Nick Jonas as one of her bad dates.

The film is based on a German novel 'SMS für Dich' by Sofie Cramer. It is now translated into English titled 'Text For You'

The book was also adapted in a German film with the same title in 2016 directed by Karoline Herfurthz. It also stars Nora Tschchirner, Fredrick Lau, and others.

The film is directed and written by Jim Strouse.

As the film deals with the second chance at love, Céline Dion does not know whether she will give a second chance to love after she lost her husband René Angélil.

'Love Again' will be releasing on May 12th, 2023.
