James Gunn doesn't like how Star-Lord/Peter Quill was treated in the hands of  the Russo brothers.

James Gunn told The Hollywood Reporter, "They did some things that I wouldn't have wanted," hinting at the moment in the movie Star-Lord strikes Thanos.

Due to Star-Lord not acting according to the plan, the Avengers lose the opportunity to take the gauntlet off Thanos.

James Gunn was consulted to ensure "nothing clashed" with his plans for the third and final 'Guardians Of The Galaxy.' But the final result was vastly different from what Star-Lord would have done.

'T'he Guardians Of The Galaxy' filmmaker also admits to "almost" regretting jokes about Drax's invisibility in 'Avengers: Infinity War.'

The final movie in the trilogy, 'The Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3,' has a release date of May 5, 2023.

As the new co-head of the DC Studios, James Gunn is bringing his 10-year plan into full force by revamping the existing projects.

James Gunn is taking a hands-on interest as he's writing and directing 'Superman: Legacy' centered around a younger rendition of the Kryptonian hero.
