Jamie Lee Curtis Thanks 'Nepo Baby' Status For Stardom While Accepting

WRITTEN BY SUMI DEKA

Jamie Lee Curtis has become a popular face in the entertainment industry for her performance as Laurie Strode in the Halloween films franchise.

Lee Curtis recently won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Everything Everywhere All At Once and while accepting the honor, she spoke about nepotism in Hollywood.

She spoke to the audience and said that her parents, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, never had a perfect love story.

Lee Curtis stated that they hated each other and that her sister and she were born from love. She revealed that her father was from Hungary and her mother was from Denmark.

Jamie has previously criticized the notion that the word nepo-babies was made to try to diminish and denigrate and hurt in an Instagram post where she called herself an OG Nepo Baby.

Speaking about her husband, she said that she tied the knot with an actor and that she loves actors, acting and the job they have to do.

Jamie Lee Curtis has two more projects in her hand. This starts with the supernatural comedy horror film, Haunted Mansion, which is scheduled to release on July 28, 2023.

That will be followed by the science fiction action comedy film, Borderlands, which is releasing sometime in 2023. The film is directed by Eli Roth.
