Joseph James Rogan aka Joe Rogan was born on August 11th, 1967, in Newark, NJ. He was born to Joseph Rogan, a former police officer. His father and mother diviorced when he was young.

His father was abusive. So, when he was seven his mother remarried and they shifted to Florida. From a young age, he learnt Taekwondo and Karate. When he was 19 years old, he participated and won the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championship.
