Justin Bieber has recently sold his music catalogue at a price of $200 million. The same step has been taken by some other musicians in the past.
The rights were sold to the well-known Hipgnosis Songs Capital. A few reports mentioned that his songs would be administered by Universal Music.
The company also issued a statement by stating that Bieber’s impact on global culture has brought a lot of changes.
The statement mentioned that it is one of the biggest deals over and that the catalogue has around 82 million listeners and 30 billion streams on Spotify.
The statement further added that they are happy to welcome Bieber and his songs to their family and that his manager Scooter Braun has helped him to build his career.
Bieber has sold around 150 million records so far and has released six albums in his musical career so far.
Justin Bieber has released 72 singles and has collaborated in various singles of popular artists like Ludacris and Nicki Minaj.
