K-Pop star Moon Bin passed away at the age of 25. The news was announced on Thursday by the record label of Astro, Fantiago.
Local media reported that Moon Bin was found unresponsive on Wednesday evening in his apartment in the upscale Gangnam neighborhood of Seoul.
Fantiago also posted a statement on Bin’s death but did not reveal the cause of death. The statement requested everyone to stay away from fake reports so that the family members can pay their respects.
Bin was a member of the group Astro and of the subgroup, Moonbin & Sanha. He joined the Fantiago label’s trainee program at an early age.
He was also an actor and model before he started his career with Astro in 2016. The group initially had six members, but one of them exited in February 2023.
Moon Bin made his acting debut with ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in 2009. He then appeared in two other TV shows, ‘Forever Young’ and ‘Moment of Eighteen.’
He hosted a show called ‘Show Champion’ and was a cast member on two other shows – ‘The Ultimate Watchlist of Latest Trend’ and ‘Food Avengers.’
Moon Bin was also featured in various web series. This includes ‘To be Continued’, ‘Idol Fever’, ‘Sweet Revenge’, ‘The Mermaid Prince’, and more.
