Charles And Camilla Relationship Timeline

According to Charles' authorized biography, Charles began an affair with Camilla in 1986.

 Diana then-wife of Charles, confronted Camilla in 1989. After, Camilla's confession, Andrew Morton’s book Diana: Her True Story is released in 1992. Diana had recorded multiple tapes about  her jealousy over Charles’s involvement with Camilla.

Camilla divorced her husband Andrew in 1995 and Diana was divorced from Charles in 1996. In 1997, Charles hosts a 50th birthday party for Camilla at his country home, Highgrove, Diana dies tragically in a car accident in Paris.

In January 1999, Charles throws a 50th birthday party for Camilla’s sister at the Ritz Hotel in London. They both made their first public appearance after the party.
