King Charles recently paid a royal remembrance to Queen Elizabeth II on the first U.K. Mother’s Day, following her demise.

The Royal Family’s Twitter account posted a few throwback pictures featuring Charles with his mother and Camilla, Queen Consort, with hers.

The tweet states that it is a tribute to all the mothers and those who have been missing their mothers and so the post wishes all of them a special Mothers Day.

Queen Elizabeth passed away on September 8 at the age of 96, ending her reign of 70 years as the British monarch.

King Charles’ coronation ceremony is all set to be held on May 6 and Princess Kate Middleton also celebrated the special day with a few pictures, including one featuring her sitting in a tree with her three children.

William and Kate tied the knot in 2011 and became the parents of three children – Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.

William is the eldest son and Harry also has two children – Prince Archie and Lilibet with his wife Meghan Markle.

Harry and Meghan stepped down from their senior royal duties in 2020 and have been raising their children in Southern California and Harry’s memoir Spare has affected his relationship with the royal family.
