'Lessons In Chemistry': Brie Larson Stars As Chemist Turned Cooking Show Host In Apple TV Series

Brie Larson is moving to the OTT space with the drama series 'Lessons In Chemistry' for Apple TV.

Brie Larson plays Elizabeth Zott, a brilliant chemist who gets fired from her job at the research lab.

Determined to make a change, she hosts a cooking show where she educates American homemakers in chemistry.

'Lessons In Chemistry' is based on the novel by Bonnie Garmus.

For her novel, Bonnie Garmus drew inspiration from Betty Friedan's 1963 classic 'The Feminine Mystique.'

Susanah Grant adapts the Bonnie Garmus novel for Apple TV. She is known for penning the screenplays for 'Pocahontas, 'and 'Erin Brockovich.'

The series also stars Brie Larson and Lewis Pullman in the lead roles. Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, and Beau Bridges also co-star.

Currently filming, 'Lessons In Chemistry' is expected to debut in 2023.
