Lisa Marie Presley's Last Instagram Post

Lisa Marie Presley passed away at the age of 54 on January 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest a day prior.

She was the only child of legendary Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley,

Her last social media post before her death was about her grief over the death of her son, Benjamin Keough.

On August 31, 2022 in an Instagram post, she talked about her grief over her son's suicide.

"In honor of it being National Grief Awareness Day, I wrote an essay about Grief which was posted today on @people," she wrote.

"I thought I'd post it here in the hopes that anyone who needs to hear all of this it helps in some way."

In the piece, Presley said she had "been living in the horrific reality" of grief since her son shot himself in 2020.

Benjamin was Presley's youngest child with the musician Danny Keough and was 27 when he passed away.
