Madonna hits back at ageist criticism after Grammy Awards appearance

Madonna has recently responded to the criticism that came towards her because of her look at the 65th Grammy Awards that was held in Los Angeles.

She wrote in a lengthy Instagram post that she is trapped in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world where we live in.

A picture of Madonna was captured at the event where she introduced Kim Petras and Sam Smith at the event and called it a historical moment.

She said that in her speech she spoke about the fearlessness of artists and despite that, people decided to talk about her close up pictures clicked.

The singer’s Instagram page was full of comments that described her as scary and unrecognizable and discouraging her obsession with plastic surgery.

She also responded to the criticism by saying that the world does not want to celebrate women who have passed the age of 45.

Madonna stated that she never apologized for her creative choices and that she has been degraded by the media in the beginning of her career.

Madonna will next perform at her upcoming tour called Madonna: The Celebration Tour which will start on July 15, 2023 and end on January 8, 2024.
