Matthew McConaughey Says Woody Harrelson Might Be His Brother

Matthew McConaughey said that he and Woody Harrelson are planning to do a DNA test to check if they could be brothers.
While appearing on ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast, Matthew disclosed the actors had learned from his mother that she knew Harrelson’s father.
He said that the start and end of things have always been like a murky line. He added that his children also call Harrelson Uncle Woody and Harrelson’s kids call him Uncle Matthew.
Matthew stated that he and Woody were sitting and talking about the closeness between their families. Matthew’s mother revealed at the same time that she knew Woody’s father.
McConaughey mentioned that the comment motivated him and Harrelson to investigate their family histories. Matthew found that Woody’s father was on furlough when his parents were in their second divorce.
Matthew and Woody have two brothers each. The duo have shared the screen in ‘True Detective’ and ‘EDtv.’ They will appear together in another series called ‘Brother.’
Matthew also said that he and Woody are still in a discussion if they should undergo the DNA test. The reason is that it is hard for Matthew because Woody is asking him to ‘take a chance to go.’
Woody Harrelson is popular for his performances in films like Zombieland, LBJ, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Triangle of Sadness and more. Harrelson has been a recipient of various accolades over the years.
