Olivia Wilde Reacts To Wearing Same Dress As Follow Met Gala Attendee Margaret Zhang

Olivia Wilde was fine with the fact that Vogue China editor-in-chief Margaret Zhang opted for the same outfit as her during the Met Gala 2023.
Wilde also posted a side-by-side picture on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Great minds. If you’re gonna twin with anyone, make it @margaretzhangn.”
The dresses were inspired by a vintage 1983 Chloe dress designed by Karl Lagerfeld, who was the honoree of the night.
Wilde collaborated with Chloe to revamp Karl’s original design by extending the hem, turning the cap sleeves into a cape, and outlining the violin shape using gold beads.
Wilde also accessorized the look with gilded wristbands and a gold clutch, similar to how it was presented on the runway 40 years ago.
Zhang added her own alterations to the gown, adding a long train stemming from the neckline and gold sequin detailing along the hem.
Zhang also did not add a lot of accessories. She simply had a pair of black sunglasses and a thin gold bracelet.
This is also Zhang’s first major event and she is supposed to appear at the Met Gala permanently from now onwards.
