Oscar 2023 Nomination Predictions

Best Picture Nominations are an assured spot for 'The Banshees of Inisherin,' 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,' 'The Fabelmans,' and 'Top Gun: Maverick.'

'The Whale' and 'Tar' could be wildcard entries to Best Picture nominations.

Austin Butler (Elvis), Brendan Fraser (The Whale), and Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin) will be the top choices for the Best Actor nominations.

Paul Mascal for 'Aftersun' could be a surprise inclusion.

Cate Blanchett and Michelle Yeoh have their nominations locked for Best Actress. The winner will likely be one of them; anything else would be a significant upset.

It would take a miracle to break Ke Huy Quan's momentum. We could also look at either Brendan Gleeson or Barry Keoghan for 'Inisherin' and Paul Dano for 'The Fabelmans'.

Winning the Golden Globe, Angela Bassett is a shoo-in for the Oscar nomination. Other predictions could be Jamie Lee Curtis, Hong Chau, and Michelle Williams.

It would be incredible to see 'The Triangle of Sadness' actress Dolly De Leon be nominated for Best Supporting Actress

The Best Director competition will be a three-way battle between Steven Spielberg, The Daniels, and Martin McDonagh.

While 'Argentina, 1985' may have won the Golden Globe, everyone is dying to see S.S. Rajamauli's 'RRR' sweep the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film this year.
