Pedro Pascal Reveals Why He Desperately Wanted HBO Series "The Last of Us"

Pedro Pascal has been featured in different projects and all of them have managed to receive a positive feedback from critics and audiences.

His latest project, The Last of Us, has also been successful. During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Pascal spoke about why he wanted to work on this project.

Pascal wanted to collaborate with Craig Mazin. He said that he has been a big fan of Mazin’s show Chernobyl and that he would have murdered anyone to work with Mazin.

Mazin aimed to bring the similar feeling of Chernobyl for his audiences. The Last of Us is an adaptation of a video game of the same name.

The Last of Us premiered on HBO Max on January 15, 2023 and has received positive reviews from critics, with some calling it as one of the best shows on the streaming platform.

Created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, the show also features Bella Ramsey playing another important role alongside other well-known faces.

Pedro Pascal’s upcoming projects include the short film Strange Way of Life, which will be released this year, followed by the drama film, Freaky Tales.

Pascal is well-known for portraying Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, Javier Pena in Narcos and the lead role in The Mandalorian.
