Sam Neill Recalls Terrible Experiences Working On 'Jurassic Park' In New Memoir

In his recently released memoir 'Did I Ever Tell You This?', Sam Neill recalled the difficult time he had while filming 'Jurassic Park.'

In his memoir, he talks about feeling "slightly irked" by the film's marketing campaign, which outlined CGI dinosaurs as the movie stars.

Sam Neil played a paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant in Steven Spielberg's 'Jurassic Park.'

The New Zealand-born actor always saw himself as an 'ordinary guy' on screen. Playing an action hero in 'Jurassic Park' aggravated his Imposter Syndrome to an all-time high.

Sam Neil was "ransacked by the usual insecurities" while working on 'Jurassic Park.'

Sam Neill also recalled the moment when Hurricane Inki hit the cast and crew hit the filming location in the Hawaiian archipelago. 

He recalls , "One morning we were told to stay back at the hotel and expect a hurricane later in the day"

The actor believed that it was the moment when he was terrified for his life and thought everyone in the production would die from the natural disaster.
