Shakira Slams Ex Gerard Pique And His Girlfriend In New Song

Shakira released her latest song and it became the hot topic as soon as it came out because she seemingly disparaged her ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué in the song.

The 45-year-old Colombian native collaborated with Argentine DJ Bizarrap to produce "BZRP Music Session #53" on January 11.

Some fans were quick to point out that Shakira's new song was about her relationship with Piqué and his connection with new love Clara Chia Marti.

The song's lyrics were, "I'm not returning here because I don't want another letdown / So much that you pretend to be a champion / And when I needed you, you offered your worst version."

In other verses of the song, the "Waka Waka" singer declares that she is "not coming back, regardless of cries or pleas.”

Last year, Shakira said that her relationship with the ex-soccer player was over. supposedly after she caught him in the act with another lady.

The ex-couple began dating in 2011 and have two kids together named Milan and Sasha, but they mutually opted against getting married.

Gerard Pique is currently dating Clara Chia Marti after his eventful breakup with the pop star Shakira.
