The Cocaine Bear has turned out to be one of the most successful films in terms of box office collections and critical reviews.
However, a wedding in Lexington has been grabbing the spotlight and the reason is that it was officiated by a bear. The wedding was held on Monday.
A Pikeville couple exchanged vows at the Kentucky for Kentucky Fun Mall near downtown Lexington and a stuffed Cocaine Bear was the one officiating the wedding.
Mall owner Griffin VanMeter said that he posted about making the bear, also known as Pablo Eskobear, the mascot of the store.
He also revealed that the bear was open to officiating weddings and the duo eventually reached out to the bear, which made them a popular couple on the internet.
VanMeter also shared an official statement on the wedding, saying that they were happy to make this happen and have the first cocaine bear wedding.
The couple who have tied the knot have been identified as Alexandra Venturino and Armando Elizondo and they said that it is a memorable story that they could tell to their children and grandchildren.
Directed by Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear has grossed around $81 million at the box office and it was released on February 24, 2023.
