DCEU have recently announced new titles for their upcoming projects and this can be called the initial step to understand Safran and Gunn’s vision.
The Rock recently posted a tweet where he gave an update on the film and his negotiations with the DCEU officials.
He wrote in the tweet that he waited a long time to bring Black Adam but DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to explore the ways by which Black Adam can be used in the future films.
The tweet increased speculations that Johnson might reprise his role as Black Adam and if Seven Bucks continue collaborating with DC Studios, things might be possible.
James Gunn also replied to Johnson’s tweet by saying that DCEU is not closing their door to anyone which ignited the rumors.
Although Gunn has not disclosed anything on what’s next for Black Adam, the franchise has five films and TV shows that is scheduled for next 10 years.
Black Adam was released on October 21, 2022 and received mixed reviews from critics. It grossed $393 million at the box office.
