Joe Exotic has announced his 2024 Presidential campaign from behind bars. The news was made public through Joe Exotic's tweet, linking to his campaign website.
"Yes, I know I am in Federal Prison and you might think this is a joke but it's not. It is my Constitutional right to do this even from here," he wrote.
He blames Department Of Justice, PETA, and Carole Baskin for his imprisonment.
He still maintains that his crimes aren't worse than those of the parties above; all he did was put "crippled tigers to sleep in the most humane way possible."
The world first heard of Joe Exotic through the Netflix docuseries 'Tiger King.' It focuses on the decades-long rivalry between Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic.
In 2019, Joe Exotic was found guilty of the attempted murder of Carole Baskin and various animal abuse violations.
He was also found guilty for killing tigers and their illegal sale across the border.
He was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison. However, his sentence is now reduced to 21 years. Despite being diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, he refuses any treatment.
