Timothée Chalamet Was Reluctant To Do 'Bones And All"

Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet is back for a gory, romantic drama 'Bones And All'. The film made huge waves at the International Film Festivals including Venice Film Festival', where it received a standing ovation of 8.5 minutes.

Along with Timothée, Taylor Rusell is also in the film playing the protagonist. The film was released in theaters on November 18th, 2022. The film is receiving positive reviews from both the critics and audience.

The film follows the gory love story of two cannibals, Lee and Maren. Maren is a shy girl, who gets abandoned by her father and she goes on a quest to find her mother and to know why she is how she is. She meets Lee, an impoverished runaway. But, the story did not quite convinced Timothée.

During an interview, Timothée Chalamet said, "The script and the material felt daunting so that’s what made it not an easy yes. The fact that it was Luca at the helm and something that felt at the same time totally different from our first project and yet as sincere [...] it felt totally right."

The actor got on board due to Luca's perspective and his desire to feel and connect to the section of the society that feels marganalized. "What would feel like a marginalization or a subjecting anybody in society to feeling like an outsider [...] it strengthens that bond because you feel so grateful and pure in your connection with another person when you find it because it's so rare and you cherish it all the more".

He continued, "I also loved the idea of going to the Midwest with Luca and getting to see what his perspective was"
