The military branch chose Jonathan Majors to narrate their new ‘Be All You Can Be’ campaign. They later pulled the ads after his arrest.
Deadline reported that the Army will edit him out of the commercials and air them during the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Final Four.
Head of Army marketing Maj. Gen. Alex Fink told The Associated Press that their content did not have the main narrator.
Fink added that if Majors was the narrator, then the Army would have proceeded without him. Around $117 million was reportedly spent on the campaign.
Majors was arrested on Saturday in Manhattan and charges related to assault and harassment were imposed on him.
The charges stemmed from a domestic dispute with a woman. Jonathan’s attorney Priya Chaudhry claimed that her client is innocent. Chaudhry added that Majors is probably the victim of an altercation.
Jonathan’s future in the MCU has not been revealed after his arrest. However, rumors state that he will reprise his role as Kang the Conqueror in ‘Loki’ Season 2.
The 33-year-old made his debut with the ABC miniseries When We Rise. He has then appeared in various other films and TV shows.
