What Is Cyber Monday?

We all know the Friday after Thanksgiving as the major shopping discount day. People eagerly wait for this fated day to pour out all their wish list fantasies. But what is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday is the Monday after the weekend of Thanksgiving. E-commerce platforms put up discounts, sales and exciting deals on their websites.

With the advent of online shopping, Cyber Monday was introduced to encourage online shopping among consumers.

Besides the fantastically appealing deals, Cyber Monday helps mitigate many hassles of the holiday season.

Before Cyber Monday, Black Friday was the only day off for employees to shop for Christmas and New Year. With Cyber Monday workers can relax and effortlessly shop. They no more have to bear the shoves and pushes in long lines of departmental stores.

Online shopping has been a harbringer of good news for traffic officers as they don't have to navigate thousands of cars on the road with them shopping in their houses.

Cyber Monday has come to par with Black Friday. On November 2020 it became the biggest online shopping day in U.S. history with a total collection of $10.7 billion.
