What's Next For Dwayne Johnson After Black Adam Failure

Dwayne Johnson recently gained recognition for playing the lead role in the 2022 superhero film, Black Adam, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

The film was released with high expectations but it ended up being one of the biggest box office bombs despite earning $393 million.

He has previously accepted the failure of the much awaited project and stated that he aims to learn from this experience.

With James Gunn announcing new plans for the future projects of DCEU, there are fewer possibilities that Black Adam will get a sequel.

Despite the failure of Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson has one more project in his hand and this will possibly bring him to his old form.

The Rock will next appear as Callum Drift in the action-adventure film, Red One, which is helmed by Jake Kasdan.

Red One is scheduled to release in 2023 on Amazon Prime Video and it features Chris Evans, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, J.K. Simmons, Nick Kroll and Kristofer Hivju in the lead roles.
